2. Who we are
Provident is a non-life (general) insurer regulated by the National Insurance Commission (NIC) of Ghana under the Insurance Act, 2021 (Act 1061). Our registered office is at Provident Towers, Ring Road Central, Accra.
3. Information only — no offer of insurance
The content on this website is provided for general information about our products and services. It does not constitute insurance advice, an offer to insure, or a contract of insurance. A contract of insurance is formed only when a policy is issued and accepted in accordance with its terms.
4. Indicative quotes
Premium figures generated by our online estimator are indicative only. They are calculated from a simplified rate table to help you plan and are not a binding quote. Your final premium and terms are confirmed by a Provident agent based on the full details of your risk. Where required, statutory motor third-party rates follow the prevailing NIC schedule.
5. The Provident assistant
Our online assistant offers general guidance about cover, claims and branches. It does not issue binding quotes or premiums and does not make or imply any claims decision. For a firm quote use the quote tool; for anything to do with a specific claim, please speak with a Provident claims officer.
6. Claims
Any claim is subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the relevant policy. Submitting a claim notification through this website does not by itself constitute acceptance or settlement of a claim.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, submit false information, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Intellectual property
The Provident name, logo, content and design on this website are owned by or licensed to Provident and are protected by law. You may not reproduce them without our permission, except as permitted for normal personal use of the site.
9. Third-party links
This website may link to external services such as WhatsApp and mapping providers for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we do not control.
10. Limitation of liability
